ELKA-Elektronik GmbH merges with the Insta Elektro GmbH
The merger of the ELKA-Elektronik GmbH with the Insta Elektro GmbH is achieved as from 01.07.16. As a 100-percent affiliated company ELKA was located at the same place as the company Insta since 1993. In future we operate as a whole under the name of Insta Elektro GmbH.
With this step we access further synergy effects to align the Insta in the best way, contentual and organizational, for all future tasks.
Thereby Insta offers, besides innovative solutions for architectural lighting and components for building technology, also development and assembly for individual OEM-solutions (OEM by Insta).
For customers of the ELKA-Elektronik GmbH only the company‘s name changes; all products and services are still available via the same contact person. Furthermore we, being Insta, provide you as an even stronger company with the bundled knowhow of two companies, successful since many decades and therewith a remarkable expansion of our possibilities.
ELKA is proud to offer the first and currently only KNX device ready to support the brand new ETS inside from the KNX association. The ELKA KNX Server 224R with build-in KNX interfaces therefore uses Windows 10 IOT as operating system.

These luminaires and spotlights are controlled via the DMX bus system – well-known from stage technology. With its ability to process complex control functions very quickly, DMX is particularly suitable for dynamic control of building façades with LED applications (light lines, window recesses, etc.).
